We met and started talking in 2011, but this was the first picture ever posted to social media of us. I guess you could say things were getting pretty serious, aye.

In 2013, Novi was working in Shakopee and Cheyenne was in school at NDSU. We took lots of solo trips to one another - driving between Shakopee, MN and Fargo, ND!

A Fargo weekend. We spent a lot of time making memories together, and I think this is where our love for eating out began! We ate out way too much and still do!

This was our first travel trip together, we went to NYC for my birthday. This was also Novi's go-to shirt at the time. - Cheyenne

Rapid City, we lived here for about a year and a half, starting in late 2015. Earlier in this year, Cheyenne won the title of Miss Indian World and graduated with her bachelors.

We hit the trail hard a few summers, esp 2016, 2017 & 2018. This was year 1 of ShowTime, Jonna and Gpa stayed in our back seat, lol.

A birthday trip to Hawaii, days before this trip is when we found out our Holy Rope was making his way, and we didn't tell anyone until December!

By this time we were all in and super comfortable with each other, aye. So we went for it for Halloween in Rapid.

In 2017, things got real! In January, we moved to North Dakota. Cheyenne began working for MHA's North Segment and Novi started his career in law enforcement as a corrections officer. In April, we became parents! And, in May, Cheyenne graduated with her Masters. It was a wild time!

Of course, our first family trip had to be to New York. Holy Rope met his relatives, saw the ocean, and went to Yankee Stadium.

In late 2018, we found out Arrow was on his way and we announced him in our Christmas cards! We haven't done Christmas cards since. So much work!

In 2019, we had Taivyn and were now parents to two baby boys. This year, Novi adjusted in his career. He went to the police academy and later became an officer. His graduation day was the day after Taivyn's birthday- and he made both!

Covid year, we spent lots of time together at home, like many. We had picnics and were on the water when we could be. Cheyenne started a new job, virtually, at the Center for Native American Youth. She's still there today!

2021 was full of both adventure, celebration and heartbreak. It was a beautiful year that allowed us to lean into creator's love and each other.

A needed and enjoyed family vacation. We drove to Disney World and up the east coast to Southampton for a visit. We were away for about a week and a half.

In January of 2022, we headed to Oklahoma for a bit (almost bought a home!), and in June, we relocated to Bismarck. In August we were blessed with our baby girl! She gave her brothers a run for their money, weighing 10 lb 3 oz!

2023 was all about making memories with our little family! We did a lot of traveling both for work and for joy. We got to do a lot of what we love to do- dance and sing! Annnd, Novi started dancing again!

Earlier this year, we decided we were ready to plan our wedding! Work and school were busy, as usual, and Novi went to a 12 week federal training and is now a criminal investigator. BUT- we started planning a couple months ago and we are so excited to celebrate our big day with you!
